보리수 열매의 붉은 고백
초록 융단 위로
투명하게 맺힌 붉은 눈동자
보리수나무 가지마다
앵두나무 여린 품마다
송골송골 맺힌 저 빛깔은
햇살이 새겨둔 고운 입맞춤인가
초록 속에 숨겨둔 마음이
햇살에 들켜버려
차마 감추지 못한 수줍음인가
이토록 붉게 익어간다는 것은
가장 뜨거운 계절을 살겠다는 다짐
가장 눈부신 순간을 바치겠다는
유월이 건네는 열정의 고백이겠지
몇해전 사다 심은 앵두와 보리수나무는 실망시키지 않고 붉은 열매를 선사하고 있다. 적어도 지난해까지는...그러나 어인 일인지 앵두는 열리지 않고 올해는 보리수만 붉은 열매를 잔뜻 선사했다.

The Crimson Confession of Silverberry Fruit

Over the green carpet,
Crimson eyes gather, crystal clear.
On every branch of the silverberry tree,
In the tender embrace of the bush cherry tree,
Are those colors clustering tight
A sweet kiss carved by the sunlight?
Did the heart hidden within the green
Get caught by the sun,
Leaving a shyness that could not be concealed?
To ripen this crimson
Is a vow to live the most passionate season,
A promise to offer the most dazzling moment.
It must be a passionate confession proferred by June.
The bush cherry and silverberry trees I planted a few years ago have never disappointed me, gifting me with red fruits. At least until last year... But for some reason, the bush cherry bore no fruit this year, and only the silverberry gave me an abundance of crimson berries.

グミの実の赤い告白

緑の絨毯の上
透明に結んだ赤い瞳
グミの木の枝ごとに
ユスラウメのうら若い胸ごとに
ふつふつと結んだあの色合いは
陽射しが刻んだ美しい口づけだろうか
緑の中に隠した心が
陽射しに見つかってしまい
どうしても隠しきれなかった恥じらいだろうか
これほど赤く熟していくということは
最も熱い季節を生きるという誓い
最も眩しい瞬間を捧げるという
六月が差し出す情熱の告白だろう
数年前に買って植えたユスラウメとグミの木は、私を失望させることなく赤い実を贈ってくれている。少なくとも昨年までは…しかし、どうしたことか今年はユスラウメが実を結ばず、グミの木だけが赤い実をいっぱいに贈ってくれた。
