              오월의 고요 

                                      -  이윤옥

 

허리 굽혀 심어둔 푸른 숨결이
새벽빛을 받으며 물 위에 앉는다

흙을 달래며 지나간 농부의 손길 뒤로
거울 같은 논바닥은 하늘을 담았다

 

어느새 모심기를 마친 들녘

뒷산 솔숲에 은은히 번져가는
뻐꾸기 노래 소리

 

땀방울 흘러내린 진흙길 위로
바람이 잠시 머물다 가는 시간
가지런히 채워진 초록의 들판이
대지의 품에서 조용히 숨을 고른다.

                 五月の静寂

腰をかがめ植えおいた青き息吹が
朝焼けの光を受け、水面（みなも）に座す

 

土をなだめ通りすぎた農夫の手のひらの後
鏡のような田んぼの底は、空を映しだした

 

いつしか田植えを終えた野原
裏山の松林に、かすかに広がりゆく
カッコウの歌

 

汗のしずく流れ落ちた泥道のうえ
風がしばし佇みゆく時間
規則正しく満たされた緑の野辺が
大地の懐で、静かに息を整える

             The Serenity of May

The green breath planted with a bended waist
Sits upon the water, catching the dawn light.

Behind the farmer's touch that soothed the soil,
The mirror-like rice paddy holds the sky.

Before long, the fields are done with rice planting,
The cuckoo's song softly spreading
Into the pine forest of the back hill.

Over the muddy path where sweat drops fell,
A moment when the wind pauses to linger,
The neatly filled green fields
Quietly catch their breath in the embrace of the earth.
